The fight is over. HD-DVD has lost. Of course this shouldn't be a surprise since the porn industry switched camps during AVN. So look forward to cheaper Blu-Ray players as more manufacturers get on board to produce them and an end to the consumer confusion of which disk to buy.

Of the new Vex Mini prototypes that have been buzzing around the office, this one is my favorite. It's a very simple design and pops off the balls at a decent clip. I think the hopper could be extended to hold 7 or 8 balls before it got too top heavy.

The much hyped, and exulted Maxis, EA production, SPORE, will be released on September 7, 2008.. In theory this game will revolutionize the way we play games. In reality it is probably the bastard child of Duke Nukem 3D and a Segway. Over hyped and delayed so long that everyone gave up interest.
I'm not holding my breath.
